JANURARY 23, 11 A.M. SOMEWHERE OVER  WYOMING - we just happened to catch some good weather for our flight into Jackson. the views outside of the plane were amazing. Cruising into the area from Salt Lake City at an altitude that would take hours to days for efficient climbers to reach, Kay and I gazed out the windows to see all that snow we had been hearing about. 14 feet had fallen since the first of Janurary and there was plenty to see. This was my first ski trip outside of California, and I could tell it was going to be a good one.
